As we’ve shared earlier, our Excellence in Service program recognizes employees when they are complimented for customer service. It has been an effective way for us to encourage our employees to focus on customer delight. Here is the latest profile of one of our Excellence in Service honorees.
Jose Hernandez, a Safelite technician from Raleigh, NC, received this compliment from a customer:
“Just a word about repair work done on the cracked windshield of my Tahoe by your technician, Jose Hernandez: Outstanding! Your whole operation reeks of competence and dedication to customer satisfaction... from the prompt service (I just called this morning), to the courteous e-mail containing a picture of the technician being sent to my home, to the complete explanation of the work performed. I am most satisfied with Mr. Hernandez' work. (He even cleaned the windows and vacuumed the floor-board when he finished!) This is our second experience with Safelite and, as in the first instance, you did not disappoint. Thank you very much.”
I guess if you have to reek of something, competence and dedication would top my list!
