Excellence in Service Profile: Vanny Prom, Technician

Safelite’s Excellence in Service program recognizes employees when they are complimented for going above and beyond for customer service.

This letter was about our technician Vanny Prom from a customer, Jenny L.:

“My technician, Vanny Prom, made a really horrible day so much better yesterday. He went out of his way to be extremely friendly, helpful, pleasant, caring, and reassuring.

“My car was broken into and I was extremely upset and was not sure what to do about the broken window and felt AWFUL about all the stuff that was stolen from me.

“Once Vanny arrived on the scene, he made me feel as if none of this was my fault and that I was not the only one this has happened to. He had an amazing amount of experience which completely reassured me about the whole situation and went above and beyond to accomodate where my vehicle was located and my crazy work schedule. The glass fits perfectly and was installed very well (to the best of my knowledge). EVERY shard of broken glass was removed and he even moved my car closer to the door so it was easier for me to reach when I left work.

“Yesterday was one of the more challenging days I have had in a while and Vanny helped to make it much better! He is ABSOLUTELY the best person I have encountered in a very, very long time in any industry, even health care! You are lucky to have such an engaged and caring person work for you!”
