• Safelite Next
A monthly meeting of a cross-functional team to explore new technology and innovative ideas that may become the “next” big idea in customer experience.
• Safelite Workshop
Three times a year, groups work together to take an idea or solution from concept development to prototype implementation.
Once a year, our people form teams to solve problem or improve customer satisfaction in one workday. Teams present their ideas to leadership and their peers and the teams with the winning ideas receive rewards.
• Code Retreat
We spend a day sharpening coding skills and learning the newest software development trends at this annual event.
• Code Jam
Individuals compete against colleagues to solve challenging technology problems and win prizes once a year.
Drawing from the experiences and expertise of colleagues, teams find solutions to challenging assignments and projects
Once a month we ask our people to go out and learn something new and innovative in the field of technology and then come back and present it to coworkers to earn prizes.
These sessions offer opportunities that foster collaboration and continuous learning, provide peer-supported problem solving, identify and recognize top coding talent, and create prototypes – all aimed at improving and growing our business.
