Video: Award-Winning Customer Service from Safelite AutoGlass Technician Andrey Ryabyy

Safelite AutoGlass Technician Andrey Ryabyy in our Charlotte, N.C., market won an International Exceptional Customer Service Award from our parent company Belron, for taking the initiative to start a Safelite AutoGlass Instagram account showcasing the technical aspects of a technician’s work with the great design of automobiles and the photographic lenses of Instagram.

“I have liked cars since I was a little kid,” Andrey explained “It was a big passion of mine. Every time I get to take them apart and put them back together, it's pretty exciting.”

With Andrey as the host of Safelite’s Instagram account, the photos have gone from a variety of random images to offer an authentic look into a technician’s day, especially when they have an opportunity to work on a high-end or classic car.

After winning the award, Andrey shared: “Winning this award shows you that your passion for your work, for customers, for your cars, and even for your appearance – it doesn't go unnoticed. It’s cool to see that our leadership recognizes it and that Safelite AutoGlass is not just some giant out there. It's me, it's everybody who's out there in their vans. So every time we have an opportunity to change something, to improve something, it doesn't go unnoticed.”
