Video: Award-Winning Customer Service from Safelite Store Manager Sandy Swackhammer

“Respect means everything, and I think that's a word that means everything to every single human being that out there, including customers. That's one thing we've achieved in the Dubois area – we respect what we do. What the technicians do is hard work, and they work on automobiles that are priced above and beyond... so we respect that automobile. We respect the person who is driving that automobile, we respect the customer when they walk through the door, and we respect every single person we work with. And I think it's part of Safelite's way.”

That’s a sentiment from Sandy Swackhammer, Safelite’s DuBois, Pa., store manager, who earned an International Exceptional Customer Service Award from our parent company Belron.

Sandy lives Safelite’s values in many ways. She supports her high-performing team with motivation and coaching. By focusing on customers and mentoring employees, she has helped her technicians achieve an excellent Net Promoter Score of 99.5 percent over four years. She also provides a support network for employees outside of her store.
